Don't remove your bump stops
Lowering a truck brings the axle and control arms closer to the factory bump stops, so the truck hits them sooner. Removing them risks frame, shock and axle damage. Low-profile bump stops are shorter but still cushion the hit, keeping ride quality and protecting your parts.
- Needed with most flip kits, drop coils and torsion keys.
- Pair with drop shocks sized for your drop.

Can I just cut my bump stops?
Trimming works for small drops, but low-profile stops are designed to cushion correctly at the new height and look cleaner.
Front or rear bump stops?
Both ends can need them. Rear stops matter most with flip kits; front stops with drop coils and torsion keys.
